About

Company Overview:
Hippity Hops is Minnesota’s largest producer of hops with 150 Cascade plants. In May of 2009, 75 rhizomes were planted on land just Northeast of Forest Lake, MN. That fall roughly 12 pounds were harvested off of the 75 plants. A majority of the hops were sold to Lake Superior Brewing.

In 2010 we planted 75 more rhizomes giving us a total of 150 plants! We produced about 100 pounds of finsihed hops the fall of 2010!

In 2011 we expect to harvest 300 pounds of finished hops.

New for 2011 we are importing Saaz hops directly from the Czech Republic.
